As a Fitness Professional and Nutritional Advisor, I get asked all the time about the best ways to lose weight, and it really is a simple mathematical equation of balance. Your body needs a certain amount of calories to survive, this is called your Basal Metabolic Rate *BMR.  

Your BMR varies from person to person, and depends on your age, height, weight, and level of physical activity.  

Once you know your BMR, (which I can help you with), we can work out how many additional calories your body requires to lose, gain or maintain weight.  It really is about balancing the amount of calories you consume to the amount of calories you use up each day, living, working and exercising (whether that is just a walk in your lunchbreak, or participating regularly in my classes or Personal Training sessions with me - *PT Sessions).
